Description and Use
Roofed skip containers are primarily designed for separate collection of paper, plastic, glass and municipal waste. The lid protects content from rain, wind and dispersal of light materials. Based on durability, weight and maintenance requirements, we offer four types of roofed skip containers.
Types of roofed skip containers
DM KD2 with DURAFLEX® plastic lid
DURAFLEX® plastic lids — low weight, fast replacement and our most frequently ordered lid type. Simple opening mechanism, minimal maintenance. A damaged lid can be easily replaced with a new one without complex disassembly.
Best for: Municipal collection yards, separate collection, operations with high usage frequency and requirement for simple maintenance.

DM SD with steel lid
Steel lid with spring-actuated opening mechanism. Increased durability, locking option and better rainwater drainage. Suitable for more demanding operating conditions where theft protection or higher mechanical resistance is required.

ALU with aluminium lid
Aluminium lids are mounted on open containers with reinforced construction. The lid is divided into multiple segments. Joining and opening are ensured by rubber hinges. Combination of medium weight and high durability for demanding operating conditions.
Compatibility: Mounting on existing open NM and NMS containers with reinforced construction.
Locking: chain (optional).

WASTEBOX Compact container for narrow spaces
Wastebox is a specialised skip container designed for waste collection in narrow spaces. Asymmetric construction with compact dimensions allows placement in close proximity to buildings, in yards and in spaces where standard containers don’t fit.
The container uses DURAFLEX® plastic lids with side opening — proven mechanism with simple operation and minimal maintenance. For emptying, hinged rear doors are used, allowing fast and easy emptying of contents.
Construction allows forklift handling which compensates for the asymmetric design and expands deployment possibilities in operations without an arm loader.
Best for: Shopping centres, residential buildings, production halls — anywhere efficient waste collection in close proximity to buildings is needed.
Option: Locking mechanism using folding ramp.
